Kitchen remodeling
A kitchen that works the way you cook and looks the way you pictured it. New layouts, cabinets, counters and lighting, with a detailed estimate before we start and every step visible in your client portal.

What's included in a typical kitchen remodel
- Demolition of cabinets, counters, backsplash and flooring, with protection for the rest of your home and the building's hallways
- Wall and floor prep: new drywall, cement board where tile goes, self-leveling where floors are out of level
- Plumbing by a licensed plumber — sink, dishwasher, ice maker and gas lines as needed
- Electrical by a licensed electrician — new circuits, outlets, recessed and under-cabinet lighting
- Cabinet installation, countertop templating and install coordination, backsplash tile
- Trim, primer and paint, then appliance hookup
Working with your cabinet company or designer
Many clients buy cabinets through a showroom or work with a kitchen designer. That's often the best route, and we coordinate directly with them on measurements, delivery dates and install details. If you're starting from scratch, we can connect you with local kitchen designers and suppliers we work with, and walk you through the order.
How long it takes
Once materials are on site, a typical condo kitchen runs about six to eight weeks. The biggest variable is the countertop: fabricators template after cabinets are installed and usually need about a week to cut and deliver. Before that, allow time for building approval and permits. You'll get a schedule with your proposal.
Living at home during the work
Most clients stay. We seal off the work area with plastic and zipper doors, protect floors, and clean up at the end of every day. We'll help you set up a temporary kitchen elsewhere in your home if you want one.
Free walkthrough
We'll measure, talk through what you want, and send a detailed estimate itemized by room and trade. You'll know exactly what you're getting before you sign.

Questions we hear
Do you supply the cabinets and countertops?
You choose and purchase cabinets, countertops and finish fixtures, which keeps your selections and pricing in your hands. We supply and install everything else: demolition, drywall, tile setting materials, plumbing and electrical work, trim and paint. We coordinate deliveries and installation with your suppliers.
Can you move the sink or add an island?
Often, yes. In condos it depends on where the building's plumbing stacks and venting run and what the alteration agreement allows. We'll look during the walkthrough and tell you what's realistic before you design around it.
Do I need a permit for a kitchen remodel?
Any kitchen that involves plumbing or electrical changes needs a permit in New Jersey. We file it, schedule the inspections, and meet the inspector, and the cost is listed in your proposal.
